Edwardian Carved Shell Cameo 10-karat Gold Frame Pin Brooch 1910s 1920s 1 1/8 x1.5 in

This elegant young lady is, probably dating to the 1910’s or 1920’s. She has a flower threaded into her hair, and she’s a bit on the plump side. The cameo is set into a delicately made hallmarked 10 Karat frame (marked) with a fold over clasp. The frame is hand-formed around the cameo with a twisted edge. The clasp was out of use by the time the Depression started, so she’s definitely been around a while. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1 - 1/4 inches. Weight is 5.48 grams Very good condition.
