The condition of the shell is excellent and there is a very faint, fancy script, signature on the back of the shell that looks like ‘ma’. The cameo shell is set in a beautifully polished, decorative 14K solid gold oval shaped bezel with a rope pattern boarder. For brooch use the bezel is fitted with a locking, safety C clasp. The measurement of the cameo is 21 mm. tall by 18 mm. wide. The bail opening can accommodate a chain up to 5 mm. thick. The back of the bezel is stamped with a 14K hallmark from Italy. We also tested the gold and confirmed that it is 14K Gold. The weight of the pendant is 2.1 grams
