Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Hand Carved Shell Cameo Pin Pendant

Vintage 14K yellow gold hand carved cameo pin /pendant. This is a classic piece featuring the traditional image of a woman in profile. The cameo is in a Marked 14K (lower back) yellow gold setting with a fine rope border. Measures approx 1-1/4” X 7/8” or 32 X 22(mm) oval carved shell. Condition: Very good, the carved shell looks great - no chips, cracks or crazing noted. There is some very light surface wear and a bit of toning on the gold setting. The pin bar, hinge, catch & hinged bail all work perfectly fine. Weight - 4.4 gr. Cameo; translucent There is a hinged bail on the back so this will convert from pin to pendant with no trouble at all. A fine collectible here!
