A n t i q u e , Circa 1885, p e r f e c t l y carved Carnelian shell. Tested as 10K Yellow Gold brooch. Frame doesn’t fit perfectly - little gap between shell and frame (on the left). Total measures 1-3/8 by 1-3/4 inches or 34 by 46 (mm.). Weights - 9.3 grams in total. From “The Nine Caroline Antiques”.
