Museum Quality Victorian (circa 1860) completely hand-wrought cameo in 14K multi-tone Gold articulately crafted from hundreds individual pieces each both hand-made & handengraved prior to assembly. The signed cameo features a classic bust of Eos, Goddess of Dawn, & the eagle perched by her arms with wings spread. On the reverse is the cameo artisan’s signature as was always the case in those days (Do Leu).The piece measures 2” x 1 7/8” or 51 x 48(mm) & weighs 5.9 dwt (9.3 grams) gross.
