Victorian shell Beautiful Bacchante Cameo Brooch Gold Gild over 800 marked Silver Filigree. Nicely done

This Brooch total measures is 28mm x 30mm. (1 1/8” tall, over 1 1/8” wide and stands 1/4” high. Total Weight is 4.59 gr. , and set in beautiful rear style Vermeil (Gold over 800 marked Silver) bezel. The shell is free from any breaks, cracks, or chips, and has some gorgeous light coloring. The detail is very crisp and sharp . This Bacchante created in the second half of XIX century - original, vintage piece. Even if some Gold gild is lost, cameo still considering in the good condition (specially according to the age.)
