Huge Old Vintage Ornate Sardonyx Shell Cameo. French Brooch 1830 circa. Vermeil. Museum Quality

This Huge Museum Quality cameo brooch measures is 60 mm x 50 mm. Weight is 22.1 grams, and set in vermeil (Gold over Sterling) bezel. Real Museum Quality. The sardonyx shell has some stress lines. Some Gold on the bezel is lost but it’s make it Real Antique. The detail is very crisp and sharp and the lady is quite striking. Created in the beginning of XIX century - original, vintage piece. Cameo itself must be way older than bezel (which marked STERLING and approximately 100 years old). From The Franch Private Collection.
