Big Classic Antique marked 14K Yellow Gold Circa 1850 Carved Carnelian Shell Cameo Brooch

Classic Ancient Roman woman image carved in the middle of XIX century. Embedded in the marked 14K Gold bezel with the newer non gold pin. Gorgeous detailing and the peach color of the shell highlights the young girls roman hairstyle on her shoulder in a beautiful way. Few tiny hairlines on the upper left. Except that cameo is in the good condition. Measures 1-13/18” by 1-1/2” or 47 mm. by 37 mm. .Weight is 13.9 grams.
