Victorian man & boats end of XYIII or beginning of XIX century Brooch Gold Filled on Sterling Silver Framed Cameo Pin /

The Georgian/Victorian gold filled on Sterling silver (GFOSS) hand carved shell cameo pin/brooch that you are bidding on is in very good condition; the back of the piece looks like the original pin back has been replaced with a piece of Sterling across the back of the frame and a new pinchbeck. No major scratches, no chips or cracks, and the cameo is in very good condition. The pin is comprised of a gold filled and Sterling frame around a worn soft hand carved cameo of a person with a hat in their hand sitting on a rock along the shore watching the ships at sea. The pin measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. The total weight is 12.6 grams / 0.41 ozt. The pin is unsigned (but it is engraved Letha Sheldon) and has been tested as Sterling.
