Antique Victorian 10K (or more) Yellow Gold Shell Cameo Brooch. Circa 1890

Victorian fine antique carved shell sardonyx cameo of a classical profile lady. It is well carved, crisp, with lots of fine detailing especially in her hair and details like her earrings. She is a classic cameo subject, but far better rendered than in the typical cameo. Faded marks on clip - of at least 10K. Total dimensions: 1 3/4” x 1 3/8”. Cleaned by professional jeweler. No cracks, chips but one, only thru the light hardly noticeable hairline. Circa 1890.
