Antique, dating to circa 1790 or earlier Classic . The cameo is set into the unmarked but tested by my Jeweler as low carats (8K or 9K- Yellow Gold bezel, decorated by the Greek ornament. From UK Antique shop. Cleaned and checked by my jeweller). Carved light sardonyx shell - image of woman with wreath. The brooch measures 45(mm.) by 54(mm.) The total weight is 26.17 gram. Newer pin and clasp is not gold.
